Artist's Comments

I'm a big aficionado of well-designed vehicles. I felt that the transport in the latest E3 Killzone 2 trailer was one such example of a well designed vehicle. Albeit, the low guard rails and flat bed seem unnecessarily dangerous especially for an airborne vehicle. But then again, the soldiers in the trailer don't wear helmets either-I guess they really want to die.

Anyway, i'm not a big fan of consoles. I don't know anything about Killzone 2, but I always wanted to make a official-looking dossier-type document with specs and most importantly corporate logos. In my free time I'm also trying to write a (short) story that is Halo-esque; though I do not have a story, I have a lot of background data. Corporate logos, some 'future' history, etc. So I just pulled the corporate logos I designed and used them in this. In short, i'm very sure there is no "Firehouse|Church" or "Love Corporation" or "Armachem Industries" in Killzone 2. That part was donated by me.

The model took several weeks to make, on and off. It's the closest i've come to completing a model. I don't texture, it's a family tradition. The only reference I used was the E3 trailer downloaded from gamespot. I used a modelling technique new to me. I don't know if it's a proper technique, but I like to call it "Piecewise" modelling. Very cool.

Final (main) image is a composite of a mental ray GI render, a reflection render and an ink render.

FT-1074 Vehicle Dossier by ~r0x0rtenshi is a wonderfully clean and well composited 3D render. The artist utilizes excellent shading and post render work to create an almost blueprint-like piece that is sure to impress. (Featured by `bluespeed9)

Umm... did you make this, or did you get it off some Killzone site? I've seen the video like 10 times, I know the vehicle lol

It is cool though, and great job if you did manage to model that!

But, umm, i don't know that much about Killzone, but... why is that contracted by "Christ Church"? lol

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.

It's a great model dude, well done. Love the little thing you have going there. And all the goes to shit when all you write is "x". That's like asking someone the time and them poking you in the eye.

The description is there for a reason, let us know what you think about this instead of us having to worm the data from your pulsing cerebreum.
